Zoom Zoom Zoom…
Marsha, Jane (who came late), Pat, Peggy, Danita, Bev (who declined to share for publication – what a perfectionist!), Laura, Daisy, and Tricia who left early. Daisy got caught up in Sketchbook Revival mini-lesson challenges – wow! Here are Danita’s responses to the lessons. Jane had a good time following & not following instructions (such a rebel). Laura really got into including flowers in her work this week. Here are Marsha’s lesson responses (love that bloom!). Pat is still responding to our sketch trip to Taos – lucky us! Peggy’s use of yellow gives us all hope for Spring! Tricia captured some of the lovely lines of Taos. -
Going Southwest in Our Sketches!
Mar. 18, 2022, zooming from our homes after the return of many who wenton Ken O’Connell’s “The Spirit of the Sketch” workshop in Taos, NM
Pat, Jane, Marsha, Sandy, Barbara, Danita, Hugh, Laura, Tricia, Bev, Peggy, Daisy. 
Pat really go into the spirit at the Mabel Dodge Luhan House, & Ghost Ranch. 
Despite frequent naps due to the change of altitude, Jane loved doing these sketches. 
Sandy flourished in the snowy site, as her sketches show. 
Hugh found a timesheet book to sketch in, had a blast in Taos! 
Laura found herself fascinated by the designs found everywhere. 
Tricia packs a lot into her large page spreads – nice! 
Daisy’s sketchbook was smaller, so she did 2 page spreads to get all the details

Bitty wasn’t on the sketch trip, but her own SW trip – super landscapes! 
Marsha kept getting photo sent to her from Laura for virtual sketching with us! 
Peggy was on a remembrance trip, with a sunflower in support of the Ukraine. 
Bev continued the sunflower theme, along with random sketches! 
Barb So didn’t go on the trip, but stayed home to capture hints of Spring!
