TDs back to a Tuesday sketch schedule!
We were so excited to be back together this Tuesday, but didn’t have the name or address correct – it’s AMAZING what determined artists can do to show up! Here’s Jane’s continuous (mostly) line drawing of us waiting for stragglers: BarbSo, Sandy, Hugh, John Darland (our host), & Katie. Also joining us were Daisy, Bitty, Lona, & Satoko! Way to go! Afterward we were invited to John’s place to sketch – what wonderful treats both places! We didn’t have a lot of time at John’s but Sandy managed two quick sketches. Hugh was excited to get into his new supplies – Karin markers, with his Lamy pen. Bitty had a blast with the Karin markes, including some metallic ones! Jane was curious about some of the plants, and there were lots! Tombow markers here. Laura captured some of the more whimsical items at John’s. Pen, colored pencil. Lona tried some of the markers, but plans to add watercolor. Peggy reverted to using her old Koh-i-Noor 6B pencil for these drawings – nicely done! Folks dropped off along the way due to commitments, but here’s the sketch in review: Sandy, Peggy, Bitty & Hugh. We had a fabulous time! Thanks John! -
Zoom meeting
Bev, Jane, Peggy, Marsha, Daisy, Bitty, Laura, & BarbSo. Contributions from Rita sent to us, too. And the sketching people challenge goes on! 
Barb So documented her trip to get a birthday cake for her husband, Jim. Below is a sketch she did of the colorful Pride Parade in Eugene. 
Bev did some closeup sketches, then went on to do small gestural sketches at the beach. 
Bitty loves living in an area with lots of gathering spots to sketch people. 
Daisy included a gremlin statue in her sketches this week, & sushi, too! 
First Jane did a sketch from a photo, then a live sketch, & finally a botanical sketch. 
Bev was busy sketching people at TD gatherings! Wonderful & identifiable! 
Peggy sketched from photos taken at a guitar builders conference – what fun. 
Rita’s at the coast right now, doing fun sketches of people in action there. -

Laura, Jane, Danita, Peggy, Daisy, BarbSo, Marsha, Bev, Bitty. 
Laura’s serious about getting her 100 people sketches in August! Yes, head shots count. 
Jane says, is it any wonder I love doing botanicals? Sketching people is painful. Don’t stop. 
Danita is having so much fun sketching family members from photos of prior events. 
Peggy is finding current event photos on Instagram – wonderful job! 
Daisy not only sketches what’s in front of her, she also does it at differing times to see what details are revealed and how the shadows change. 
Barb So finds such interesting situations to sketch – love that ice cream girl! 
Marsha did a fun sketch of Rita, and then of people she saw at the coast. 
Bev’s cat is such a willing model, and she’s just realized that her people sketching skills come from years of doing fashion sketching! 
Bitty is enjoying exploring the use of NeoCrayons on black paper – zowie! -

Zoomers Sketching
Partly here & not: Marsha, Jane, Danita, Laura, Hugh, Barb So, Peggy, Daisy, & Bev. Not, but submitting sketches: Bitty, Rita, Sandy. We had a wide range of sketches, as usual, but now begins the 100 people sketches in August! 
Barb So started with a self image, then moved on to other folks, including the roofers! 
Bev dutifully sketched people, then got fascinated by local trees.
Bitty tried several approaches to sketching people (love the Olympic gestural studies!). 
Daisy is still doing “collections” of things, and here’s her collection of sketchbooks! 
First Danita’s landscape sketch of the golf course, then people sketches – her family! 
Hugh sketches people wherever he is, including looking at Adam Grosowky’s painting! 
Jane is getting a kick out of sketching photos taken by Italian friend Stefano Marcovaldi. 
Marsha did an in person sketch at the golf course, then a shot from tv – who is it? 
Then Marsha got brave to do a “Daisy” – standing up to sketch people she saw around her. 
Peggy’s honing her chops – from a landscape, to sketches of people in action! 
Rita is on a road trip, but sketching all the way – you go, girl! 
Sandy, like her husband Hugh, sketches people wherever she is – quite a diversity!
